Eric Huffman
pastor
Eric is a native Texan, born in 1978 as the son of a hairdresser and a United Methodist pastor. In fact, Eric's father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great- great-grandfather were all pastors within Methodism. A graduate of Centenary College (B.A. Religion & Psychology 2001) and Saint Paul School of Theology (Master of Divinity 2006), Eric has been involved in launching dynamic, relevant ministry initiatives since 1997.
That same year, Eric met Geovanna Chavez, an international exchange student from Ecuador, and five days after their first meeting, he wrote in his journal, "I'm going to marry this girl. I can just feel it." And this prophecy came true on June 5, 1999, when Eric and Geovanna tied the knot in Houston, Texas. Since they've known each other, they have worked together launching relevant campus ministries, new Hispanic churches, and Revolution as well.
Revolution an eclectic, diverse community that believes in putting faith to work- is the church of Eric's dreams. His primary passion is to see Revolution continue to grow in influence in Kansas City and the world.
Eric and Geovanna are very happily married today, working at Revolution and living near 43rd and State Line Avenue in KCMO with their two dogs- Chapo (3, Miniature Schnauzer) and Limp Biscuit (1, Wire Fox Terrier).

Scott Shaw
Worship Leader
I'm the Worship Pastor here at Revolution. My responsibilities include leading worship, writing new arrangements of old songs, giving musicians opportunities to play and sing, fostering artistic creativity, and using music to help people express their faith. My wife Candace and I moved to Kansas City in 2007. I graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a degree in Music Education. I also have a Masters of Church Music from Baylor University and a Masters of Divinity from Truett Theological Seminary where Candace and I met. I love hanging out with Candace and our family. Few things make me happier than making or listening to live music. However, I also really enjoy sports, working out, looking for new places to eat, movies, taking trips, and coffee.
April Keltner
Minister of Children and Families
April has been with Revolution since the fall of 2006 in many roles ranging from ministry assistant to the pastors, and youth minister, but April's true passion lies with the children and families of Revolution.
April graduated in May of 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University (go cats!) Meanwhile two weeks after graduation, April married her husband Erik and moved to Kansas City. Erik is a mechanical engineer at Black & Veatch in Overland Park and is on the constant search for ways to be greener and to crazy extents at times! April is currently working to expand her provisional certification as a Family Life Educator to full certification and to become a certified Christian Educator.
April and Erik now reside in Shawnee, KS with their two crazy cats, Monte and Cristo. They love being a part of Revolution and seeing it grow and change!

He serves as Revolution's ministry intern, which has him busy in a variety of capacities, from mailing insurance forms to preaching. In his spare time, Alex writes, spends time with his fiancee, and plays with his cat Luigi. He also tries to defy the stereotype that "Cat People" are boring.
